Executive Coaching

As an independent consultant Helen has built on her expertise on stakeholder engagement and governance. This is backed up by her tertiary qualifications in human resource development (including her research at masters and doctorate levels) with a focus on individual self-development.

As executive coach, Helen has a very effective approach in gaining people’s trust, teasing out barriers to adoption of change and new approaches, and is experienced in coaching for individuals including in the (former) Ministry of Justice, Ngala Family Resource Centre, Curtin Small Business Unit, Treasury Corporation, Landcorp, State Solicitor’s Office, Department of the Attorney General, Finance.

 Learning and Development in the WA Public Sector

 As part of her career facilitating leadership learning and development Helen has undertaken the following roles:

  • Designer/presenter of the Leadership Development Series workshops on community consultation/stakeholder management, and on influencing skills for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (2006 – 2009)
  • Facilitator for government’s managing out for the Public Sector Management postgraduate qualification (2002-2005)
  • Approved provider for the WA Public Sector Coaching panel (2005-2008)
  • Career coach for private clients
